Firstly, I'm going to talk about Glossybox itself. It is a monthly subscription service (there are other ways to pay but I'm not going to talk about all of them) which is priced at £10 per month, so isn't too bad if you are on a budget. Each month you get 5 full-size products suited to you through the beauty survey you take during the sign up process. Personally, I feel its definitely worth the bargain!
The first product I'm going to talk about is the NickaK Blush. Because this blush has a sponge applicator I have found this to be the perfect everyday blush due to the fact it is so fast and easy to use. The formula itself is smooth but I feel it does need to be reapplied if you have oily skin like I do, however I don't feel like this is a problem because it is so easy to just put it in your bag as no tools are needed to apply it. Another pro to this product is if the sponge applicator isn't for you it does unscrew and you have the perfect loose blush. I must also add that Glossy picked a great colour as its perfect for winter and will suit every skin type. Overall, I would definitely give this product a 5 star rating!
This next product was a great grab in my case and I love a good highlighter, however, I was quite disappointed as I find this product looked too unnatural on my ghastly pale skin (which was included in my beauty survey) as it has beautiful golden tones and shimmer too it. In saying that, on medium to dark toned skin I feel this could do wonders, so maybe I'll pass this on. I also found this product difficult to blend as it leaves a "stain", if I may call it that, where you originally apply the product. I feel a little let down by this product as I had high aspirations for it so due to that, it only gets a 1 star rating :(.
This product had to be favourite product in the whole box just because of the trouble I usually have with these products. Lip balms in this form tend to be the ones I steer clear from due to the fact I am prone to coldsores and have been my whole life and I found this type of product has always broke me out. HOWEVER, this is the best lip balm I have ever came across. It has a super smooth formula, is 100% natural, it absorbs into the lips and does feel sticky at all, this has replaced my vaseline and is now my holy grail. I use this product literally all the time and cannot praise it enough. 5 stars all the way.
Here I'm going to be totally honest, before I got this box I never really toned my skin because in the morning I was always running late and of a night I just wanted to be in bed - but this product has changed everything. This has converted my skin from being oily and shiny to soft and smooth. My make up glides on so much better and of a night my face feels clean and fresh. It has aloe vera, camomile and calendula which soothes my sensitive skin and it smells amazing. I love this product - 5 stars!
Finally, the next product is the one I forgot to photograph. It is a beautiful brown liner which is great for everyday as it natural and complements every eye colour. The formula is smooth and it glides on and blends beautifully, however, I feel if this eyeliner isn't set with an eyeshadow it will move around and crease. Other than that, this liner is a bargain with the price but I probably wouldn't repurchase. 2 stars!
