February Glossybox - Love Edition

Hello everyone!
I thought I'd start off with apologising for my absence this past week or so. I've been extremely busy, equally sick and also stressed, so I thought I'd begin by talking about my February monthly subscription box, enjoy!

I received my February Glossybox on the 11/02/15, two days after it was dispatched which I was especially happy with this month, and as you may have imagined the theme was LOVE due to the upcoming Valentines Day. This months box came with 5 full size products for only £10 (£13 inc. P&P), and the total box value for my box is £43.68 so you're definitely getting your moneys worth!

First of all I'm going to talk about the 2 items that aren't make up products that I got this month, however my disorganised self doesn't have pictures of them so for that I apologise. I'll start with the shaving razor - This month Glossy included a Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk razor which claims to "hydrate skin for upto 2 hours after shaving and leaves legs supersoft". This retails for £9.99 and is available on the Wilkinson Sword website. Now, I am someone with extremely sensitive skin with eczema in places on my legs so I was quite concerned when I saw a razor, but then quite relieved when I saw it was the one I purchase regularly anyway! I think this razor is definitely a must for sensitive skin as it is gentle and caring leaving legs as it states "super soft" due to its five blades, a definite must!

The next product I forgot to photograph was the Got2be All star 10 in 1 styler. This product retails for £4.07 and to "sort all your hair problems at the same time". However, I don't think I will ever use this as it instructs you to "Run 2-6 pumps through damp hair and style with hair dryer and diffuser" and honestly me and hair dryers just don't go well together... So unfortunately I think this will be passed on to someone else.

Moving on to my favourite part - the make up!

We'll start off with my least favourite make up product so we are able to finish on a happy note. This is the Susan Rose Quartet Lip and Cheek Palette which retails for £8. When I was first opened my box and saw this on the card I was so excited! But when I seen the size that is when I was disappointed firstly as I was so confused how to get enough product on to a larger enough brush for my cheeks? And this tiny thing was £8! The next thing that really annoyed me with this was the packaging, you will see the picture on the left, its cheap and was marked as soon as I took it out of its exterior packaging. It also doesn't have a mirror. The actual product inside I wasn't too impressed with either, it is a cream but swatches quite patchy and also stained for around a week which is not something I want to apply to my face. This is most definitely something I will not repurchase, especially for £8!

This next product is the Royal Apothic Tinties in coral with retails for $14 and contains all the good stuff needed to nourish and replenish your lips to leave the smooth and plump while adding a generous amount of colour. I was so excited about this when I received this as the sneak peak because lets be honest here this has the most adorable packaging ever. Knowing it was a tinted lip balm I wasn't expecting much colour pay off even though price wise it is on the higher end. That was until I swatched it anyway.. This lip balm has the colour pay off of a lipstick combined with the shine of a lip gloss and the goodness of a lip balm. It is essential for the winter and colder days when you want a colour on your lips but need the moisture of a lipstick. I can honestly say I am in love.

Finally, this next item is the Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in Fifty shades which is "inspired by the film and is 100% natural" and it retails for £14.49 which makes this the most expensive piece in this months box. I haven't used this product yet but on swatch this is definitely smooth, it blends easily and has a beautiful silver sparkle to it. Its beautiful. I'm not sure on the price as the pot is so small but most definitely a little goes a long way so who can complain? I'm excited to try this out and will update you when I do!
